Back Stage Drivers comprises of two veteran roadies, Jeffery Alan Read and Duane Kottmann. Both have driven trucks and tour buses for the stars and have come here to share their experience and adventure.
Jeffery started in the music business as a volunteer roadie at the tender age of eighteen with the then local Hollywood phenomenon Joshua, a local rock group which later went on to become a major European artist. While working for the band, Jeffery got his chauffeur’s license. He began driving 18 wheelers and hauling all the bands gear to and from all their shows around the Southern California area. Since the band had a large PA system, they would sometime rent it out to other groups, which enabled him to work with both Tina Turner, and Berlin. This was the turning point for Jeffery, and his dream career had finally been given birth. Since that time, he continued developing his skills and contacts. He has gone on to amass a resume spanning over 30 years. Below is his list of super stars has worked and toured with:
